10/1/93 - Mary Ellen & Bill slept in Lt’l Rover at home while Jeanie and family used available bedrooms. Our bedroom was under renovation.

10/11/93 - One night at farm, Hanover, VA. (Dick Wolter’s funeral).

10/12/93 - One night at T. J. Proffitt’s.

11/14/93 - 11/16/93 - Mary Ellen & Bill stayed at Charlotte DeBoney’s for NC Baptist State Convention. (Winston Salem)

11/19/93 - New water heater. $329.95.

11/27 93 - Sheila, Jeff and Alison (with Bill’s help) are packing up to leave the beach. (Holden Beach). We came down Wednesday night and have spent 3 nights in the travel trailer. We made good bread in the bread machine, cooked eggs and turkey stuffing fo our Thanksgiving dinner. Bacon & eggs for breakfast: had nice, hot showers and worm, comfy beds. - Ah! All the comforts of home!

Holden Beach Family Campground $10 a night - what a deal!

2/6/94 - 2/9/94 - At Jeanie’s when Braden was born 2/7/94 at 6:07 - 8 lbs. 4oz.

4/1/94 - 4/2/94 - Morrow Mountain State Park - Mary Ellen & Bill in Lt’l Rover - Jeff, Sheila, Allison & a friend, Nancy and Tommy stayed in a cabin. Jeanie & David came for the day Friday.

4/20/94 - 4/24/94 - Greenbelt National Forrest. Traveled Wednesday from home at Elm City to Greenbeld National Forrest near Northern Washington, DC. Thursday we drove to DC and spent over an hour looking for a place to park. We parked in a Garage at Washington Park. We toured the Capital, shared a stake at a Union Station restaurant, visited a Wisconsin Senator’s office to get tickets to the Senate and House of Rep. We listened to debate on an amendment about bombing Bosnia. Very few Senators were present. (Jessie Helms was there part of the time). We visited Botanical Gardens and Art Museum, then back to camp.

Friday we took the Metro Train to Smithsonian Station, visited the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, American History and Art Museums. Metro back to Greenbrier Station.

Saturday we took the Metro Train again and visited the Library of Congress (no tour on Saturday). spent most of our time in the Air & Space museum. We visited the Smithsonian Castle & Garden. Returned to camp on the Metro.

Sunday we packed up and returned home.

7/1/94 - Jeff & Sheila - Lake Aire RV Park. This place is not as nice as advertised. Very junky with tall grass. Stayed only one night. (Charlestown, SC)

7/2/94 - James Island County Park (Charlestown, SC). Very nice park and campground. Had great time visiting and fishing with Sheila’s sisters (Marie and Patricia) and brother-in-laws (Wayne and Jim) and mom and dad Howell.
